A Confluence of Faith: Situated near the sacred Triveni Sangam—the auspicious confluence of the Tapi, Panjhra, and the mystical Gupt Ganga rivers—our temple holds immense spiritual importance. This unique geographical and spiritual alignment amplifies the sanctity of our abode, making it a powerful pilgrimage site where devotees come to seek blessings, perform rituals like ‘Pitra Dosh Nivaran’ and ‘Tarpan,’ and connect with the divine. Our Purpose and Activities: At Kapileshwar Mahadev Mandir, our mission extends beyond being just a place of worship. We strive to foster a vibrant spiritual community and preserve the timeless traditions of Sanatan Dharma. We are dedicated to:

• Promoting Devotion: Encouraging unwavering faith and devotion towards Lord Shiva through regular daily pujas (morning and evening), ‘Abhishekams’ (ritual bathing of the Shiva Lingam) with milk, water, and sacred herbs, and daily ‘aartis’.

Beyond Worship: Unique Aspects & Visitor Information:

• Key Festivals: We celebrate all major Hindu festivals with immense zeal. Maha Shivaratri is observed with continuous chanting, special pujas, and late-night vigils. The entire Shravan Maas (July-August) is particularly significant, with daily Rudrabhishekams and special prayers. Kartik Purnima and Tripurari Purnima also draw thousands of devotees for unique rituals and celebrations. During these times, the temple premises host vibrant local fairs that showcase the region’s rich cultural tapestry.
  
   
• Darshan Timings: The temple generally opens for devotees from early morning (around 5:30 AM) for morning prayers and remains open till late evening (around 8:30 PM). Specific timings may vary slightly during festivals or special occasions, which are usually announced locally.
• Accessibility: Velhale is well-connected by road from Bhusawal (approx. 20-25 km), Jalgaon, and other nearby towns. The nearest major railway station is Bhusawal Junction, a significant hub. Auto-rickshaws and private taxis are readily available for transport to the temple.
• Pilgrim Amenities: We continuously strive to enhance the pilgrimage experience. Basic facilities for devotees, including drinking water and restroom facilities, are available. Local vendors often offer puja items and devotional literature outside the temple.
• Ecological Harmony: Our unique location at the river confluence underscores our deep reverence for nature and water bodies, integral to Hindu philosophy. Devotees often perform ritualistic baths in the confluence before entering the temple, symbolizing purification.
• Management: The temple’s daily operations and preservation efforts are overseen by a dedicated trust or committee comprising local community leaders and spiritual enthusiasts, ensuring its legacy continues for generations.
